Controversial tree, situated left hand side of the 12th hole blocking the approached shot, was struck by lightning during the early Saturday morning storms. Whilst the ironic tree had divided opinions, the majority are happy the height of this tree has diminished considerably. The stumped will be grinded and turfed.
