The 16th hole has an entirely new look from the tee with the previously overgrown shaded tee surround, now a formal garden with clean lines & edges. We’ve circumnavigated the garden with a sleeper border, utilised large river rock as a dry creek theme and reshaped the existing Moraya and Brunfelsia plants to formal hedges. A once lost Waterhousea floribunda (weeping lilly pilly) is now the centrepiece of the garden after once being blocked out by other large invasive vines and trees. The yellow Melaleuca’s on the back of the tee have been reduced in height by half and in time will be shaped into a formal hedge.

The 16th green surround garden has also been transformed into a formal garden with the same scope of works carried out. Heavy hedging has been instigated on the line of yellow Melaleuca’s running parallel to Boundary Road. Once towering trees, these plants have been cut down to 5 foot high soon to be hedges. River rock has replaced the mulch that previously would be washed away in heavy storms and all noxious vines and trees have been removed. A very large Ponytail palm was a pleasant surprise find under the dark screened canopy of plants. It now stands proud as a key focal point of the garden.

The 14th tee garden has been transformed into a Bromeliad garden.
