Unfortunately, we have noticed a disturbing rise in the amount of unrepaired pitch marks in the greens in recent weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Roboto; color: black;\">No one wants to putt on a crater-ridden surface so we feel it may be timely to remind you of the reasons we should all be repairing every pitch mark.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Roboto; color: black;\">1. It maintains the consistency of the putting surface for all players.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Roboto; color: black;\">2. Unrepaired, or incorrectly repaired pitch marks leave the turf damaged and more susceptible to disease and the resulting damage.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Roboto; color: black;\">3. It reduces the amount of time our team spend repairing and maintaining the playing surfaces each morning, leaving them free to keep improving the playing experience for you in other ways.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0cm 0cm 7.5pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Roboto; color: black;\">So, I&#8217;m sure we all agree that a small amount of your time and attention can go a long way in helping to maintain the playing conditions you enjoy each and every week, and we look forward to seeing the results of your combined efforts on course from here on out.
