As mentioned in the recent renewals communication, we are also thrilled to announce the revival of the Order of Merit (OOM) event. This special event will run every Saturday for single events from Opening Day to Closing Day. Members will compete for points in a manner similar to the PGA FedEx Cup Style Points Allocation, with points awarded to the top 70 players in rank order (ties determined by countback). The Members with the most points at the end of the season will be declared the Order of Merit Winners and take a share of the $1000 prize pool, with separate divisions for men’s and ladies with prizes awarded to the Winner and Runner Up.
We have also introduced a Members Midweek Eclectic Competition. The goal of this competition is to achieve the lowest score on each hole, and the players recording the lowest score in their respective divisions (with a deduction of half their handicap on the final day) will be declared the graded winners with prize money issued. Participants must complete two or more rounds to be eligible. Eclectic rounds include all Wednesday Club Monthly Medals, Mid-Week Club Championships & the Monthly Medal Play-offs.
