You may or may not know but every week, week in and week out, several of our members volunteer to do an amazing amount of work on our course.

From picking up sticks, maintaining gardens, felling trees, and everything in between they do an awesome amount of work.

The Tuesday group, headed by Doug Reeves, includes Kim Jones, Wayne Milne, Alex Choy, Barry Ezzy, Wayne Robins, and John Walton. These men have fell trees, trimmed troublesome branches, cleaned creek banks, helped us clean up after storms, and generally kept our course clean.  If you’ve noticed a particularly annoying branch blocking your shot that has magically disappeared the next week, I can guarantee you have these men to thank.  We must add a special thanks to Wayne Robins and his tireless efforts in keeping our kilometers of cart paths neatly edged.

We also have Ted Sibley who turns up every week, with his own mower, to help us keep the rough under control. We truly couldn’t present the course we do without Ted and his mower.

And then we have the wonderful ladies Colleen Hynd, Wendy Thurlow, and Alice Lee,  who keep the gardens around the clubhouse and maintenance facility looking impeccable with the help of Denise Gould and her donated plants.

It is truly not exaggerating to say we would not have the course we have today without these members selfless efforts.

So, we, the course maintenance staff, would like to thank these wonderful members for their efforts. We appreciate you more than you probably know.
