This is a friendly reminder to all Members of the importance of cancelling tee times with the Pro Shop well in advance if you’re unable to play.

Tee times are a valuable and limited resource at Oxley Golf Club, especially during competitions and social play. When a Member doesn’t show up or cancels at the last minute, it not only prevents another Member from enjoying a game, but it also disrupts scheduling, places extra pressure on Club operations, and can lead to lost revenue in social tee time periods.

By notifying the Golf Shop as early as possible, you’re helping ensure that every available tee time can be used and enjoyed. It’s a simple act of courtesy that goes a long way toward supporting the smooth running of the Club and showing respect for your fellow Members.

The Pro Shop will be managing this process very closely to ensure their is limited impact on our daily timesheets.  Please note below the current policy on Cancellations which can be found under ‘Code of Conduct’ in the Yearly Fixture Book or online via the Members Portal.

Competition – Conditions of Play Policies:

Cancellation Policy

Players who do not advise the starter that they are cancelling at least thirty (30) minutes prior to their tee time will receive a letter outlining the sanction that will be imposed for any further transgressions.

PENALTY FOR BREACH:

1st Offence – Letter

2nd & 3rd Offence – Player will be required to pay the competition fee applicable for the event/s from which they failed to inform the starter

4th Offence – No access to the timesheet for 1 month

Additional Offences – Referred to a Disciplinary Committee

Competition Fees & Reporting to the Proshop

Competition Fees are payable at the Proshop before play. All players must arrive and report to the Proshop at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to their allotted tee-time.

PENALTY FOR BREACH:

Stroke Play – Disqualification

Match Play – Disqualification
