Over the past couple of years, we have had numerous changes with our guidelines around scoring and handicapping for 4BBB events. The major issue in previous years has been the incorrect scoring of manual cards during team events. Now that our membership is utilizing electronic scoring through MiScore, these issues should be resolved moving forward. For all future 4BBB events, we will be moving back to the ‘Golf Australia Four-Ball Handicapping Guidelines’. Click the link below to see the full details.
Key Points
Only scores meeting the following criteria will be sent for handicapping;
- The pair the player played in had at least 42 points in converted to Stableford team score (note: PCC will not be calculated for four-ball events).
- The individual is on the scorecard 9 times as a minimum.
- The extended individual score must see the player playing to 36 converted Stableford points or greater.
Reminders
- Players are encouraged to ‘Pick Up’ if you cannot better your playing partners score to assist with pace of play.
- Pairs MUST be decided before teeing off. Please see ProShop to change playing partner during registration.
Your partner is decided by position on booking timesheet. Player 1 + Player 2 = Team 1 & Player 3 + Player 4 = Team 2 (picture below).
