Its been a busy few months across November and December with multiple Hole in One’s achieved! Well done to the following members:

Carl HedvallCongratulations to member Carl Hedvall who on 8th November aced the 5th hole.  With 146 metres and a challenging head wind Carl chose his 19 degree rescue for the job.  The ball carried over the right bunker and unfortunately the group were unable to see it go in!  There was much delight when the ball was eventually found in the hole! After 23 years of enjoying the game, this was Carl’s first hole in one! Congratulations Carl! We look forward to hearing about the next one.
Gary PaulWe are delighted to share the exciting news of a Hole in One by member, Gary Paul. On Sunday 10th December, Gary achieved a spectacular hole-in-one on Hole 3. Gary used a 6 iron and strategically combated the breeze that accompanied the day’s play.  The excitement of the achievement was heightened by a white flag and a front bunker obstructing the view of the pin. Although Gary couldn’t witness the ball finding the hole, the celebration upon reaching the green was celebrated. This was Gary’s first hole-in-one at Oxley Golf Club and the third in his golfing journey. It is moments like these that remind us of the joy and camaraderie that make our golf club a special community. Let’s join together in congratulating Gary!

Robert McLeod –
Robert McLeod scored his 5th hole in one on Saturday 25th November.  Robert holed out with his 7 iron on the 3rd hole with both his group and the group on the green playing witness to the great shot.  Apparently, the ball looked good on landing and is Robert’s 3 hole in one in competition at Oxley.  Congratulations Robert!
