Due to Queensland’s hard work, strong borders, testing and rapid response, restrictions have further eased.
Oxley Golf Club is happy to welcome members, guests and visitors to our facilities.
The latest restrictions that affect the club are listed below, along with withstanding rules.
- Standing eating and drinking: Standing eating and drinking permitted at indoor and outdoor venues with a COVID Safe Plan (From 4pm Friday 2 October 2020).
- Outdoor density: Outdoor density requirements relaxed for businesses with a COVID Safe Plan to one person per 2m2 (e.g. outdoor dining, beer gardens and theme parks).
- Outdoor events: Increase the maximum number of people permitted at outdoor events with a COVID Safe Events Checklist from 500 to 1000.
- Open air stadiums: Increasing the seated capacity of outdoor stadiums and amphitheaters from up to 50% to up to 75% with a COVID Safe Plan.
Motorized Carts
Motorized buggies can be used in the same manner they were prior to the COVID – 19 restrictions coming into effect. This includes two people sharing a cart that are not from the same household.
The Club will continue to clean and disinfect its motorized buggies before each use. Members should also disinfect their personal motorized buggies after use.
Clubhouse and Bar Opening Hours
Currently the clubhouse and bar are open. All current government guidelines have been implemented. At this stage, 40 patrons per defined area are allowed to consume alcohol.

Junior Clinics
The Clubs junior clinics have recommenced and now take place on Saturdays. Parents and juniors will be sent the new schedule via email along with information on how the Club is providing a safe and healthy
learning environment.
